Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the ModAnon app and the website at modanon.app (the "Service"), operated by ModAnon ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use ModAnon
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian's permission). You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure.
2. What ModAnon is, and isn't
ModAnon is a discovery service. We show you products sold by third-party retailers and link you to their websites. We don't sell products ourselves. When you buy something, you buy it from the retailer, under the retailer's terms, prices, shipping, return and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for the retailer's products, fulfillment or customer service.
Product information such as prices, sizes, colors and availability comes from retailers and affiliate networks and may be out of date or inaccurate. The retailer's website is the final word.
3. Recommendations
Your feed and Style DNA are generated automatically from your preferences and activity. They're suggestions for inspiration, not professional advice, and we don't guarantee that any product will suit you.
4. Affiliate links
Some links in the Service are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you buy after tapping one. This never changes the price you pay. See our affiliate disclosure.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. For example, don't scrape or copy it at scale, interfere with or overload it, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software and branding, belongs to ModAnon. Product images and descriptions belong to their respective retailers and brands and are shown under their affiliate program terms. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial shopping.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing hello@modanon.app if you can't sign in. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product information will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ModAnon won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from purchases you make from retailers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
